How do I start working with Nader Homes?
Once you have determined in general terms the scope of your project, you are welcome to contact Nader Homes to schedule a face-to-face appointment in your home. We will listen to your ideas, share some our initial thoughts, and take some photos, measurements and detailed notes about the scope of your project.
Is there a charge for the first appointment?
There is no charge for the first appointment; the time that Nader Homes spends with you is a courtesy designed to allow us to gain a better understanding of your project in order to submit an accurate estimate.
How long does it take to get an estimate?
Depending upon Nader Homes’ workload and the season, it usually takes up to one week to respond to you with an estimate for your project. We prefer to e-mail it to you, if possible; otherwise we will gladly fax it or send it via USPS.
Do I need an architect?
The scope of your project dictates the need for the professional services of a licensed architect. If you are contemplating a sizable addition or new construction, we highly recommend that you engage the services of an architect. As a design/build firm, Nader Homes has a licensed architect and engineer on staff and is equipped to provide these services. Alternatively, Nader Homes will work closely with your architect or recommend outside architecture firms with which we have professional relationships.
Does Nader Homes provide kitchen and bath design services?
Yes. Nader Homes a kitchen and bath design team that will work closely with you to make all product selections and create the room design. From tile and cabinetry to trim work, Nader Homes has the experience to give guide you through the process and give you a finished look that reflects your tastes and desires.
Can I supply some of my own material?
Yes. Often our customers do their own shopping for finishing material such as tile, fixtures, faucets, etc. If you decide to do this, Nader Homes will provide you with the specifications and schedule to ensure the correct materials are available for installation when needed.
How much time does it take from the initial consultation to begin construction?
It takes anywhere from two to ten weeks depending upon schedule, season, permits, design iterations and material availability.
Can I live in my home during my project?
In most cases, you can live in your home during construction unless it is a complete gut or teardown.
Do I need to hire anyone in addition to Nader Homes to complete my project?
No. Nader Homes is a General Contracting firm that offers a turnkey solution. Occasionally, customers choose to hire trades directly (i.e. electrician, plumber, mason, etc.) with whom they have had a previous working relationship. Nader Homes will gladly consider working with such a sub-contractor.
Is Nader Homes insured?
Yes. Nader Homes holds $2 million of liability insurance. A certificate of insurance will be issued to you, upon request, at the start of your project.
Can I see completed Nader Homes projects?
Yes. After our initial consultation and the submission of our price proposal, Nader Homes will provide appropriate references and drive-by locations at your request.
